Venerable Cornelia Connelly

In 1846, Cornelia Connelly founded the Society of the Holy Child Jesus in England. An American convert to Catholicism, Cornelia was committed to the message that through Christ's incarnation, every human person is worthy of respect. She devoted her life to educating children and exhorted Holy Child teachers to help students of diverse backgrounds "grow strong in faith and live fully human lives".
