Saint Patrick, Protector

Legend recounts the way St. Patrick drove all the snakes from Ireland and some versions of the story include the use of his personal bell in this expulsion. Whether true reptiles or demonic influences, the testimony of Patrick’s life and his vigilance against the devil encourage us to commend ourselves to his spiritual protection in all things as a defender against physical dangers and spiritual snares.
