Saint Nathanael

Also known as Bartholomew, Nathanael was called by Philip to follow Jesus. His initial skepticism was put to rest when Jesus revealed He had seen Nathanael under a fig tree, and identified him as an honest man. Nathanael became one of the twelve apostles and later gave his life as a martyr.
