Saint Leo The Great

A 5th-century pope, Leo defended the Church against heresies and barbarian invasions. He famously persuaded Attila the Hun to spare Rome and shaped the doctrine of Christ's dual nature at the Council of Chalcedon, earning him the title "Doctor of the Church."
