Saint Fiacre
$6.00
In a monastery in Kilkenny, Ireland, the priest Fiacre was renowned for his piety and gift of healing. When the flood of visitors asking for his prayers became overwhelming, Fiacre moved to France, where he built an oratory to the Blessed Virgin, a hospice, and a hermitage for himself. He cared for the sick, using his gardening skills to grow herbs and medicines. Saint Fiacre died in 670.
