Saint Augustine Zhao Rong

Augustine Zhao Rong, a Chinese soldier, encountered Christ through the faith and courage of a bishop who was facing martyrdom. Augustine was baptized, became a priest, and ultimately gave his life as a martyr. In 2000, he was canonized alongside 119 other Chinese martyrs.
