When the human family, choked by the effects of sin and division, constructed a society of tyranny and violence, God’s corrective hand intervened to guide his children to reconciliation through the obedience and faith of Noah’s family. Having led these faithful few through the calamity of the flood he confirmed his promises of grace and love with the sign of the rainbow.
