Blessed Pauline von Mallinckrodt

Mother Pauline was born with a heart for charity. As a child, she picked broken glass off the streets to protect children who could not afford shoes. As an adult, she carried a basket with supplies to care for the sick and poor. Guided by her deep devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, Pauline built a school for the blind and founded the Sisters of Christian Charity who still serve around the world today. www.sccus.org
